    C-Dory Sightings

spotted Knotty C and a venture passing Government island on the Columbia. Upstream on saturday and back down on sunday. They were trimmed out and running level. Looked good, very smooth.

    Best Dungeness crab bait

I have used turkey legs with some success but usually I catch some rockfish and hang the carcasses in the pot. That works great every time.

    Towing 4 wheels down

On the internet somewhere is a site that lists all possible toads and whether they can be towed 4 down. Can't remember the name of it.

    Engel in Cabin???

I have the marinized version of the engel, I think the 48m. It won't fit under the table, it is too long by just a little bit. It might if I took the handles off. I took one side of the v berth cushion and cut it in half and when I go when it might get stormy I leave out the head end of the...

    Alcohol Stove

Like everyone said, the alcohol is slow, puts out some fumes and puts lots of water vapor into the cabin. I had a two burner on a sailboat, it also had the oven. I did find that if I could buy the alcohol from canada it worked much better, bit still not near what the little butane burners do.

    How many batteries?

I would be surprised if a pair of 6v golf cart batteries would fit in a lazarette of a 22. They are pretty tall, and REALLY heavy. I had them on my sailboats and they were great for the power hungry refrigeration.

    Seattle SeaFair Show 2015

I always watched them from elliott bay. You can't see it all but you don't have the chaos of the crowds on lake washington either. I wouldn't go anywhere near that mess. There are people that go out and get on the log boom two or three days in advance. As to oak harbor. It is an okay...

    Screen for back door

Hope you have better luck with the hot glue gun than I did. The glue stuck to the boat okay but wouldn't stick to the velcro.

    Columbia River

Don't go to Fred's. I bought a yearly permit at Scappoose for $45 dollars as I recall and you can leave your rig in the parking lot. I do let the marina know that is what I am doing, and no problem so far. At low tide scappoose can get really shallow but it has never been a serious problem to...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

I was expecting my local Schwab to not touch it but they were more than willing. I thought I would end up at the local truck shop down the road from me. Funny the difference between Schwabs.

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Been trying to get the boat cleaned up and waxed but it has been so hot here that I only get to work on it an hour or two each day, but almost done. As for the trailer, the King Marine tandem started having soft or no brakes on my last trip over to Round Butte. Brake disks and calipers are...
