I think the possibility of running 10 to 12 hours on any given day is pretty optimistic. You might get 6 in the morning but who knows how bad it will get in the afternoon.

I fished my 16 two seasons off the Oregon coast, sometimes twenty miles out and never felt threatened. Getting back across the bar in the afternoon requires some attention and slowing down but it was never a problem. July to October in the pacific is usually pretty decent.

For moving the boat around in tight places check out the trailer valet. I bought an arima that had one on the trailer and it actually works well.
