    16' ANGLER

Now under 18k Cad. Engine has 462 hours. This sale is nothing to do with me. I'm just passing on the info because these little C-Dory's are often sought after. Martin.

    2018 Inside Passage South

Pat, you should enter that pic in any photo competitions. You might win something. I wonder if you could do a deal with BC Ferries in exchange for some free travel or gift vouchers? Martin.

    2018 Inside Passage South

Dodd Narrows (for all you who have not been through before) is a piece of cake. I have been through many times within in 90 mins of slack. That is a 3 hour window. I know other boaters who power through regardless of timing. That being said, do consult your tide & current tables and act...

    2018 Inside Passage South

Check out Nomad's photo albums, C-Brats Gulf Islands 2013. Several of us came through the 'Cut' at half tide. Sometimes only inches below the keel. Several times my chart plotter said I was travelling over someones lawn! That's how tight it was. I had on my 'Extra Strength Depends' for that...

    16' ANGLER

Ooops, typo. It was just under 20k Canadian. Martin.

    16' ANGLER

Saw a 16' Angler advertised on Craigslist, Comox Valley, Vancouver Island. The boat is actually in Campbell River. Has a Yamaha 50, low hours. Asking 25k Cad. Martin.

Does anyone know anything about this boat manufacturer?

I confirm. Corner of Coleman Rd and Old Island Highway in the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island. Wolf boats. Has been in operation for the 25 years I have lived here. Martin.

    A new "Thataway"

My v-berth is now all 'RV type' carpet, top, bottom, and sides, huge improvement. I then made a lattice out of cedar strips to go underneath the mattress for more air flow. No more condensation. Martin.

Name & Numbers on, other stuff

Looks great, very stylish. You be careful docking now, no scrapes or scratches. Martin.

    Finally, I'm buying a cdory

I loved twin 40s. Turn the boat on a dime. So easy to maneuver in tight marina's. Martin.

    Finally, I'm buying a cdory

My 2008 4-stroke Yamaha 40s were carbureted. The fuel injected models for Yamaha outboards that size came out in 2009 I believe. So with the Honda's, maybe it's just an age thing. Martin.

    05/18 - 05/20 - 2018 Friday Harbor CBGT

Hi Greg and the girls, also fellow brats, After 6 consecutive years of attending the FH gathering we are going to miss this year. We had contemplated attending in our present boat and catch up with old friends and enjoy the fun of a weekend with the most special people afloat. Andrea had the...

    A new "Thataway"

Congrats you two. I do not know you, we have never met, and maybe never will. But when you have something to say, or in my case, read. It is time well spent. Martin.

    Spot Light

In 6 years of owning a C-Dory I only turned on my spot light once. That was when the wind picked up during the night while at anchor. I had a roof mounted light. Nice that it was out the way but limits what you can do if you are putting a dink on the roof. Bow mounted light does not look...

Do any brats use marine charts?

Like a lot of boaters, I carry paper charts because I already have them. They live in my chart drawer, never see the light of day as I use my electronic chart plotter. Reassuring to still have them in case of electronics failure. Martin. 2011 to 2017 22' C-Dory 2017 to present Camano Troll...

Condensation Problem in a 22 Cruiser.

Greg mentioned it. Put some v-berth portholes in, Pt & Stbd, and get some cross flow air in. Bet you see an improvement. Martin.

It finally happened to me..FOG AT NIGHT

My C-Dory now has a new mum & dad, but once a Brat, always a Brat. When I had Nomad, I was a firm believer in keeping it simple (and saving money). I never had radar, auto-helm, or shore power. Now on my new boat I have all three and luv 'em. If you are on a budget, pick out one to install...

Went to the Boats Afloat Show

Very true. Once a brat, always a brat. In fact my elementary school teacher instilled that into me when I was only 6 years old  Martin.

Went to the Boats Afloat Show

Congrats Caryn and Peter. Looks a lovely boat. I am surprised the number of C-Brats that I know who got 'bigger-itis'. In no particular order, Nordic Tugs, Ranger Tugs, and Camano Trolls, seem very popular at the moment. We really enjoyed our C-Dory, maybe me a bit more than the Admiral...

    My new boat (part 4!)

Beautiful boat Jason, congrats. I did the same as you. Got my Camano Troll six weeks ago. Love the luxury and she is so easy to drive. Once a C-Brat always a C-Brat. Martin.
