    Canadian Border To Remain Closed

OK tha tis fine with me ,too. But I don't see how Mark's post could be considered "just nice" in any way, shape, or form. Don't get me wrong, I'm not adverse to heated controversy (My family just reminded me that the swear jar will be reactivated the day after the November election......), I...

    Canadian Border To Remain Closed

I just finished binge-watching "Ice Pilots", about Buffalo Airways out of Yellowknife. A wonderful show about some wonderful Canadians. Sometimes I wish that we would invade, and then immediately surrender. All the best to you neighbors. (and if you decide to build a wall my ladder only goes up...

    My Beautiful America

for me it's always been Kate Smith singing God Bless America. I first heard it on our big Zenith console radio with the glowing green tube in the front. I think it was Dec. 8, 1941 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AOAH2lv3H0 Truth be told, it still gives me chills.

    Debating between a 16' and 19'

One small but pricey issue on 16s has to do with windshield wipers. Manual wipers are fine on an angler because the handle can easily be reached when seated. That is not the case with the cruiser, where you can't reach the handle when seated.

    Debating between a 16' and 19'

Absolutely. If the water's flat you can cruise all day long at 25 mph. It certainly does plane at a low speed but, because the transition is so gentle, I don't really know at what speed. About the balance that Pat mentioned, he's right, although it doesn't make any real difference. (personally...

    Debating between a 16' and 19'

Based on what you want, you want a 16 footer. OK, so the cruiser does have a table, but it is easily removable. Between the cruiser and the angler, I have had both and like some things about each of them. They might take some getting use to in off shore waters but, when you do, it's like putting...

    Ahoy from Birch Bay, Washington!

If you are out there alone especially she will list to starboard. Also, if you have two batteries, like we did, they will probably be on the starboard side,. even if you start out with a full 6 gallon tank. It's a great little boat either way but it is sensitive to weight distribution.
