    Juliet Marine's "GHOST"

I'm all for the USN buying about 500 of these little guys, some way to get them in the water quickly around the world (not a C-17 though, that wouldn't work), scrapping the useless LCS (Littoral Combat Ship) program thereby saving us many billions of $$. Wish I was still in the Navy Ship...

    Brake Stutter

How much of the total weight of the boat/trailer is on the tongue? Does the trailer sit level when hooked up to both vehicles? If the front is higher on the Cherokee than on the Truck, that may be lightly loading the front tires/wheels causing them to skip on braking. Charlie

    power steering assist units?

I don't see a response to the question asked of you about what kind of steering you have. Do you currently have Hydraulic steering? If so and You still get very tired, then certainly an autopilot which is not hard to install on hydraulic steering would certainly help. If you have mechanical...

    Quick simple poll please

I bought a new Road King trailer, aluminum, tandem with a folding tongue to reduce length (to fit in a garage with the boat on it) which is made in NC and FL. Have not used it very much, only to get the boat home from the dealer near Norfolk where we bought our 2005 22 but it is very nice...

    Captain Run Aground

They say there are only two kinds of boaters, those that have run aground and those who will. It is Lindsay's Law, WHEN THE DRAFT OF YOUR VESSEL EXCEEDS THE DEPTH OF THE WATER, YOU ARE MOST ASSUREDLY AGROUND! Charlie

Why did I not think of this earlier?

In Costa Rica a year ago Feb while on vacation, we saw a woodworking shop thar was powered from a waterwheel tjat has all sorts of mechanically belt driven machinery. Very strange to just hear the quiet whirrr as the machinery run before wood was fed in to planers, shapers, saws, etc! I took...

    Removal of racor fuel filter.

I think much of the junk gets caught in the filter and only some (mostly water) ends up in the bowl. Charlie

If they have popups blocked, they may not notice that it's in their in box. Or if they don't have email notifications selected. Charlie

    Removal of racor fuel filter.

At some point, I think they changed the O-ring to a different material. And Tom, that is a once a year change, at least on the East Coast! Charlie

    towing mileage

Our (mine and Dr. Bob's) gets about 21 when not towing and 15 when it towed the TC 255 from Pensacola to Virginia, about 900 miles. 7.3L diesel Excursion. Everyone wants to buy it. Don't ask, it's not for sale, it's my last "truck"! Charlie

    Distance between Twin Outboards??

Depends on the type of transom, whether (or nor) he plans on trim tabs and or hydraulic steering. Ordinarily I'd say "as far apart as possible" for maneuverability but the answers to the above questions will probably dictate an answer. Charlie
