    Trailer Accessories

I've got a Fulton folding tongue on our new aluminum Road King trailer so it will fit in my 28' deep tall garage. :thup And I'd like to see that Northern Tool $250 jack operate on a gravel slope, please! Not that it wouldn't, I'd just like to see it. Charlie

    Moyen Poodle

Angel is a great PUP. :hug :dog :love Would not recommend a Silky Terrier like our Andy the Wonder Dog for boating. Love him but the first trip on our boat out of only two or so, he threw up before we even got underway. He's about 12 and will probably be good for only about 2 or more years...

    Table charge

A regular USB charger is about 1 amp. An iPad charger (that comes with the device) is rated at ~2.1 amps. It's, in all likelihood, not the wiring but the charger itself. ssobol is right on IMO. Charlie :thup

    Trailer Value?

Tom, the tires on THATAWAY were 5 years old when I bought the boat/trailer from Dr. Bob. With only about 500 miles. Two sidewall blowouts on the trip from Pensacola to VA. Of course, that was an 11000# boat.. See THIS Thread...

    Trailer Value?

7 years, even in covered storage isn't good for tires! Factor that in. Charlie

    May buy new CD 16

Moydav, you'll love the Etec. We've got about 320 hours on our 2005 90 and the maintenance is great! It even fogs itself once you lay it up for a long period of time. Charlie

    Power trim problem

$88 is cheap for anything on a boat, particularly an outboard part. Where did you get the switch an how was the response from the dealer? Charlie

    GPSMap 178C

I use that too but the updates are good for year only. As long as things don't change too much, it's not a problem. The HD Navionics is even more detailed. Charlie

    GPSMap 178C

I've got a 182C somewhere, I'll look and see if there's a data card in it. Charlie

    A larger 30' C-Dory?

Gorgeous! Better buy a big tub of some sort of varnish! I've got a spare C-80 if you want to put a second plotter on her. Charlie

    Trailer rant!

"its the caliper rubbing against the brakes" Peter, do you mean the caliper rubbing against the rotor disc? If so, sounds like the brake pads are worn to where they need to be replaced and the rotor should be scored somehow... :)

    Power trim problem

Brown's Point Marine has them Google it and put in your engine model number. If it happens on both engines, it's likely a stuck switch in the throttles at the helm if you have the switch set to trim both engines together. Had both 115's and 150's on TC255's. Charlie

    Was it Fate?

If you haven't named her yet, how about "MEANT TO BE". Or, in the CDory vein, C-MEANT TO BE. Oh wait, that last one isn't right! Charlie

Hey Pat, the 255 can go slow too!  But as you said... Each to his own, is a V26 in your future? Charlie
