I sealed mine all the way around. I don't know much about this but, I would think it could create a vacuum. Seems like that could cause ventilation but not cavitation. Just a guess though.

Scott, Our boat is a 16C. We have the liner and, although I do not hate it, my preference would be to not have it. Simpler to build and more simple for the owner to customize and outfit.

Anyone know what year a solid rear bulkhead became standard on the 22 Angler?

I find the bow rail to be a plus when anchoring. Our boat is a cruiser, so if I open the hatch and stand up, my feet are on the v-birth. Guess that would not be a problem in an Angler. I go around the outside and sit on the closed hatch.
