    2004 Honda BF8A Value

Somehow I knew this would turn into a bidding frenzy that would eliminate a commoner like me! Darn you high rollers.

    2004 Honda BF8A Value

David, In this economy, I believe it would sell for around $75.00. However, since it is "the season of giving", I would be willing to give you $150.00 (2x market price!). I can be there first thing in the morning. Would a temporary check from the Bank of California be okay? Seriously, I think...

Fuel range - 16 cruiser vs. 19 angler

I have been toying with the idea of a low profile 12 gallon moeller tank under the v-birth in our 16C. It is a permanent install and would have a deck fill and vent. Since we have moved the batteries forward, it would leave the transom open for storage of lighter weight items. Don't think you...

    Electric shock drowning

My five year old son spent his first birthday in ICU at Legacy Emmanual Hospital (and the following week) in Portland, Or. after a heart operation. Stories like this send a chill up my spine. I do not know what it is like to lose a child but, I have a better idea than I would like to have. We no...

    letter size boat name

We measured the C-dory logo on our boat and took a couple of pictures. Then we took that to our local sign maker. They matched the font from the pictures and used our measurements. We got three peel/stick and peel "C-squirts" and two sets of registration numbers in our trim color for less than...

    Cause cavitation?

I sealed mine all the way around. I don't know much about this but, I would think it could create a vacuum. Seems like that could cause ventilation but not cavitation. Just a guess though.

    Cause cavitation?

Joe, I enjoyed your' informative and understandable response as well. Of course, I enjoyed science class in school. Thank you, even though my prop seems to be fine!

    C-Dory Factory Communication

I have already responded here but, as I follow this thread I feel inspired to add another comment. I know that we should purchase boats with our future needs in mind. Our case is a little different. We bought a 16C because we have a 5 & 6 year old boy (one of each!). We knew we would outgrow...

Tyboo, Personally, I thought the "support itself" comment was a side-splitter!

C-Dory Factory Questions for the Group

Scott, Our boat is a 16C. We have the liner and, although I do not hate it, my preference would be to not have it. Simpler to build and more simple for the owner to customize and outfit.

    16' Angler questions.

Connie, I would suggest a check out on the motor by a qualified mechanic. Bet you are good for several hundred hours but would like some peace of mind. We are interested in both down riggers, let us know model numbers and if you are willing to pull the mounting plates off your' boat...

    22 Angler rear bulkhead

I was looking at the C-Dory (Fluid) site and when I looked at the floorplan it showed a door like the Cruiser version. Were they offering a choice of either glass or canvas from the old factory? I like the idea of a solid lockable door and the convenience of a walk through door. Not sure how...

    22 Angler rear bulkhead

Anyone know what year a solid rear bulkhead became standard on the 22 Angler?

    16' Angler questions.

I find the bow rail to be a plus when anchoring. Our boat is a cruiser, so if I open the hatch and stand up, my feet are on the v-birth. Guess that would not be a problem in an Angler. I go around the outside and sit on the closed hatch.

Art, I agree, if I had lots of money I would love to have forward and side scan sonar.
