Hoo-boy. Got a call from Jacobsen's today. They wanted me to look at the Engine Holder casting. The one we replaced in 2008 because of corrosion around that inspection port? The one I talked about in the other thread back in 2008? THAT one! So I stopped by to look. It has corrosion...not enough...

I thought about trying to replace it myself. It's just bolts, after all. Well, it's bolts, plus supporting the engine while it's disassembled from the pivot, and not accidentally dropping the entire thing onto my driveway and having it break into a million pieces. So yeah...Jacobsen's can do it...

Our troubles are a bit more prosaic than those of the Daydream and Salty crews; The "mild sinus irritation" I've been fighting all week has become a full-blown head cold. I'm going to take it easy at home this morning, and depending on how I feel, we may head out later today, or early Saturday.
