as of yesterday there is no longer a notice stating it is closed, very short duration closure, less than 20 hours, which I have found to be the case more times than not, they don't screw around on the canal.

I have been there many times and every time I go back there are improvements made and more boats. If you are into wooden boats, this is a can't miss trip for as close as you will be. If you have the time I would also highly recommend heading up to Alexandria Bay and take a tour of Boldt Castle...

See pics in my profile of old C-dory sticker. I removed this VERY CAREFULLY with a razor blade and then put some acetone on a rag and cleaned the area of any residue and/or glue. Worked great, just take your time with the razor blade.
