We've searched extensively for the procedure to de-carbonize

Mike, Read the first post in this thread. http://www.c-brats.com/viewtopic.php?t=18878 "The manual tells me the problem might be a carbonized burner. Anyone know how to uncarbonize the burner?"

We've searched extensively for the procedure to de-carbonize

a Wallas cooktop/heater without success. Maybe my search skills are deficient and I need a tutorial/mentor to show me how to find this info. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. From all that I read this morning Wallas owners are bi-polar: They either LOVE them...

Advice on replacing boat trailer for our C-Dory Cruiser 22

When we bought Emma Mae, the PO had just bought a Venture trailer for it. I'm pleased with the quality and ride. We have trailers sailboats all over the US and Canada. This is the first aluminum trailer we have owned. If I were in the market, I wouldn't hesitate buying another. Be sure to get...

New Utah Boating Regulations for out of state boaters

Several years ago we bought a Compac 23 Pilothouse in BC, Canada. Brought it back into the states at Blaine, Washington. Then trailered it back home to Illinois. Not inspected in Washington. Inspected at the Idaho border. They tagged the motor. At the Montana border they accepted the Idaho tag...

2005 Honda 4 stroke with carbs. Carb flooding and other

Thanks for the suggestions. Carbs were rebuilt on 3/26 as shown on invoice from prior owner. Invoice shows $150 charge for sea trial of engine after work. My guess that ethanol gas sat in those carbs since then. I disconnected fuel line from motor. Used primer bulb to pump gas into metal can...

2005 Honda 4 stroke with carbs. Carb flooding and other

problems. Starts right up cold using fast idle lever. Takes a while to warm up. When fast idle lever is lowered to shift into gear, engine dies. Trying to restart results in flooding of 3 of the four cylinders. It floods so much that you can smell gas and it streams out of a small spout on the...

    2005 Honda 90 - which prop?

Bob, That is just where it was running. Very pleased with the performance improvements. With a Honda 90 I may be going as fast as I can go. Dunno Put on the 3 blade 15" prop tonight. Will try it out on the Mississippi River on Saturday near Galena, IL

    2005 Honda 90 - which prop?

Going to try the 13.25 x 15 prop next. You may be confused about speed thru water and speed over ground. GPS gives speed over ground, regardless of wind, current etc. A paddle wheel speedometer only measures speed thru water. If I'm going downstream in the Mississippi River with a GPS it will...

    2005 Honda 90 - which prop?

Finally got in the water. WOT 5400 RPM Top speed 24 MPH per Garmin GPS Permatrim made a great difference in getting the bow down. Smooth water with no wind. Have 3 blade 13.25 x 15 prop that I will try next.

    2005 Honda 90 - which prop?

Spent a lot of time reading threads re: Props. Found this thread about my motor. I currently have a 4 blade, 13.25 X 13 prop. Just installed Permatrim but have not yet had it in the water since. To get the top of the Permatrim near the bottom of the hull I had to raise the motor a lot with...
