    V-berth carpet project

Looks like you are doing nice work Tom. The fan is a nice idea. Those fumes will dull the brain. I hope you have done your tax return.

    GREAT NEWS!

well, I am short on funds myself. Just when my investment in cat pelts was going to pay off, what with the cats eating the rats and the rats eating the cats, the company I invested in, spent all of the profit on R&D aimed at cross breading the cats with snakes. In the long run, I will be rich...

    V-berth carpet project

If the boat will float, then ye must put that project on hold for prawn season. Will be interested to see your project. Do you have any concern about mold on a surface you have glued into place?

    Lake Washington Cutthroat

Nice video. The penn downriggers are the best part and I am sure are the key to success.

    Lake Washington Cutthroat

Chuck, the point is that as you live the second warm day you should be getting the boat ready to launch since the third day produces this hatch. Ask any of the old timers who fish the lake or go to the boat ramp and see the rush of activity on that third day.

    Lake Washington Cutthroat

Don't know if this works on Lake Washington, but on Lake Sammamish, you could predict the bite based upon the weather in the spring. In January - end of March the third day of warm sunny weather would produce a hatch and you troll the center of the lake where it narrows and the north end off the...

2009 good year for Canadian salmon?

Well the word I got from the BC fish folks was that this condition suggests fishing on the West sde of Vancouver island. Inside, on the East side is not expected to be very good though.

Russ and Toni, I called the marina and told them I would be in a night early. They would like to know how many for that first night but said to just check in upon arrival. Looks like the tide on Friday calls for heading out at first light. See you out there.

    WE'VE JOINED THE CLUB!

It's hard for me to tell if that was Pat Anderson kissing up to Patty again or if that was Patty mouthing off and trying to sink my whole deal. Point #1. The always sharp as a tack and supportive Kathleen, does not read my postings here. Point #2. This one is hard to admit. Kathleen gives...

    Boater's World no more

A....Ya...that was me. I did not cause 129 stores and hundreds of people to become unemployed though by being an effective consumer. We can thank our financial institutions and lack of regulation for that. To place my brash comments in perspective, the 2% is in connection with the extra sales...

C-Dawg, good to hear we will have a second on Friday. We will, I expect spend some time on the hook and also some time in motion. We may try bouncing cut plugs in the correct tidal situation and may settle in with a beer in one hand as the day rolls by. We are not set up to depart from the hook...

    Rub rail

Well they do make them. 1/4" is large though and may take a larger tool than you own. Here is a link to a suplyer. I recommend calling upon a large home improvement shore like Homedepo, if you have those. www.hansonrivet.com/prodindex.htm

    Looking for 22 project inspiration

If you find yourself looking for a way to seat a 4th person inside, then check out my brief set of photos. I find that two jump seats and four sets of mounting brackets give you many options.
