There is nothing on the top of the gunnel. No holes. Its coming out of the side. Ill take a better closeup.

Took the boat out this past weekend for four days and a brown stain appeared under the port side gunnel near the cabin. Where is this coming from? I was in clear water the entire time. Pictures are in my album.

yes the inverter does have an automatic transfer switch. I have 225AH battery bank.

how do you post a picture

I wanted to be able to turn on and off the inverter when connected to shore power, that's why I was thinking about using a 30a breaker. If hooked up directly to shore power I would not have that option. If I knew how to post a picture I would draw it out. Im more of a visual persom.

I think I'm ok with powering the entire bus. I know better not to turn on the water heater. I just need to run the outlets. I have 2/0 gauge for the DC side. Just don't want to melt anything. I know nothing about electricity.

I purchased a 2000 watt Freedom XC inverter/charger. Looking on how to properly install this into the Blue Sea 30A main panel with six breaker spaces. Im guessing I install a 30A single pole breaker on the panel to run the AC line in. Line out goes to the main bus bar. any help appreciated.

well it looks like I wont be able to make it this year. My motor was supposed to be shipped on the 18th. I was just told it wont ship until the first of the month. Next year.

I should be taking delivery of my new 26 venture in 3 week, waiting on the motor and its on backorder. unfortunately I have to work that week, but could come down that weekend if people are still around.

the 26 they have on the lot is the sport model, no liner. Yes I would love a 40 power cat, but cant trailer or afford it. lol Size will do till I completely retire. This will be my starter boat into the cruising world.

just got back from sea trial on the 23. I really liked it. Very different coming from a cc bay boat. Not concerned about speed really. 30 is plenty fast. my only real concern would be the Florida heat in mid summer. Maybe a few fans and AC down the road. Think I will pull the trigger on the 26...

New to the group and interested in purchasing a venture 26. My local dealership has a 23 that I can sea trial. How would the ride of the 23 compare to the 26. If I like the 23 how much better of a ride would the 26 be? I'm trying to get a baseline before I order a 26 Thanks in advance
