thanks Jack I appreciate it however light tides and low wind we were able to drift straight up and down under 1mph so we did not anchor, may give it a try next weekend. I don't think I will worry about cabin and will re run the line. happy memorial day.

so not trying to beat a dead horse. but I rigged up the anchor for tomorrow and wanted to make sure I have it right. as when I pull on the anchor end it does seem like the rode rubs up the cuddy area. it is hitched off on the port stern cleat. here is a pic
