Another option is to have someone fabricate some 25 gallon tanks out of aluminum. Its not that big of a deal to have done. I have two 25 gallon aluminum tanks that were fabricated and work nicely. Not sure of the big pros and cons on whether plastic or metal would be most preferable. Shaun

I have an 1981 22' C-Dory and I believe the change in hauls was posted on another thread, 1987 I think. The difference is quite noticable if you compare. I however havent had the oppurtunity to ride in a 1987 or newer C-Dory. Weight distribution and trim seem to be the most important factors...

Well I know you dont live in Alaska :D An enclosed cabin up here is definately a blessing. If you live where it rains at all you'll like having the hard top. Shaun

As most here have indicated the C-Dory is truly a sea worthy vessel. I don't think you'll hear anyone say otherwise. There are faster and smoother hauls for operation in purely choppy waters but a C-Dory will handle the swells and chop very nicely at speeds between 12-16 knots most any day...
