The dingy idea crossed my mind as well, but some times it is like being in confused seas with all the boat traffic - I actually think I enjoy dipping from shore better - it is lot's of fun to have those dudes cruise into your net. Do you think a dip net would work in Main Bay - maybe late at...
Since The Naked Island/Cordova adventure we have gotten in a couple of adventures and thought I would share the photos:

Would love to hear about your current setups, both home and travel, I have been thinking about getting a machine, I love a latte but hate paying the 3 bucks for one and it would be fun to be able to make them.

Man, you guys make me feel like overkill, but I sleep well.
I have the 22lb bruce, 20 feet of 3/8 chain and 600feet of 5/8 rope - I figure if I ever switch to a Nordic Tug I already have the anchor system.
Cheers,
Joe
Thanks Pat,
I was amazed at how warm the water was, especially at Naked Island. It is a little crazy, but it feels so good after a swim - I say just go for it.
Cheers,
Joe
Hello from the Sundog Crew,
Sorry I was only able to briefly be with the gathering but it was good to meet those I did and thanks a bunch to the DOGONDORY crew for the hats and the oven mitt.
We had a lot of fun heading to Cordova and am glad to have done it - if you would like to see the...
It will be easier to spot the Sundog now, check out the PIC:

We are on the water tomorrow night.
See you out there if all goes well.

It is looking like the Sundog Crew will be showing up along with a non C-Dory boat - a Sea Sport - will he survive?
I am hoping to be heading out of Whittier this Thursday in the afternoon and will go to Naked if the weather is good, otherwise, maybe I will stop on Perry or something like that...
Slam it down on there and use it.
I have for 3 years now and no noticable wear on the boat.
I also pack it like this a lot: http://www.alaskaphotography.com/2004tr ... age28.html

Hello, I thought maybe someone here has run into this before and would be able to help me out.
Here is my problem (not my only as my friends will point out!)
My Port engine is occasionally not starting. When I turn the key I get the normal whistle saying it is ready and then when I go to turn...
Got the lings in about 115 feet of water on some structure about 2 miles Seldovia side of flat island.
catdogcat - do you have an uncle that is a fireman - I met a guy in an older glass boat that mentioned he had a nephew that was getting a new Yamah on his boat and could not make it out...
Just though I would share some photos from our recent week in Seldovia AK. I am starting to think with 2 boys I am going to need a 25ft boat in the future. I hope everyone is out having many adventures.

Catdogcat... I am definately planning on chasing the dear around this fall so let's make some plans. Thanks for the feedback on the photos - we sure have fun taking them.

Hoping to...
Just thought I would share some fun photos from our recent trip out in PWS. Enjoy the summer all.
