Getting to know each other.

This is a picture of Cosmo in the last few months of his life...a good memory, too. This is how he looked every morning as I went off to work.

This is a picture of Cosmo, our beloved 11 1/2 year old Golden Retriever who passed away on June 10, 2010. This is when he was young, and how I'll remember him. This guy was extra special because he was the dog the kids grew up with...never to be replaced.

Just getting off the ventilator will do wonders for a guy...same thing every time they remove a tube. Keep it up, Dr. Bob! God is good!

I always get a charge to see a new or different C-Dory here in the Midwest. Of all things, I walked out of the bank I work at tonight, and in the back yard of the house adjacent to the bank was the Mattie J. She was getting cleaned up by the homeowner, who also happened to be a USCG licensed...

My Secret Santa got me a VERY cool 9 inch wooden model of a CD22! Even with "my" blue stripe! I don't get to see C-Dory "stuff" around these parts at all, so this was a big kick for me. Santa also put in the box two heavy, brass fishing rod holders...the kind you would see on some big, salt...
