    Marinaut Boats on the road

I would travel to a dealership to check out a boat or a boat show as the rumour is that they are less expensive at boat shows. Parking it at a Cabelas or other sporting goods establishment is a great idea as previously posted.

    Possibly Re-powering

I have two friends with E-Tecs that love their motors! They have had no problems at all with them. They are lighter than most comparable 4 strokes, better hole shot power (may not matter on your C-dory). No maintenance for three years I think and there is the no oil changes benifit. If I were...

C-22 Porta Potti... why always "never used"?

The doody bag that I buy at Wal-Mart can be used for more than one time. I typically leave it in the porta potty for a day, no longer. The bag is pulled out and sealed and can be disposed of as you see fit. I think most all of it ends up back in the ground or burned at a sewage disposal plant in...

    Tow vehicle axle question.

personally I would go with the limited slip. That truck should easily handle towing your boat. I have a long bed ford (F-350) and love being able to slide sheets of plywood, drywall etc into the back and being able to close the gate. The only drawback is crowded parking lots.

    Bluefin Tuna

I belive that high price on that fish was mostly money that went to a Tsunami charity. Raw fish eating? The FDA recommends freezing it for a solid 24 hours to avoid getting parasites in your system.

    A cautionary tale

I have been on aircraft carriers when the waves were breaking over the bow in the north atlantic and on an LSD (dock Landing Ship) in the north atlantic with a full bell rung up with the ship making two knots to the good climbing up huge swells. The ARS (Auxiliary Rescue and Salvage ship) that...
