    Lock Thru Question

Well I went through the Sault Ontario Recreational Lock on 18/07/2014 , it was a very simple and easy process. The Lock lowered and raised slowly and there was very little current which was easily handled. I had one big round bumper hanging from the front railing and a smaller round bumper...

New CD22 Angler - good idea?

I just looked at Glenda Jeans' album , great looking boat. I want one but I have to say ( my personal opinion ). I am not a fan of those Patio Doors everyone seems to be using now. They even have them on Nordic Tugs , if I were to buy a new Angler the Patio door would have to be exchanged for a...

New CD22 Angler - good idea?

I have never seen a newer 22 ' Angler, would like to see one fully rigged on a trailer or in the water. The C-Dory site never shows any pictures of them so how or why would someone buy one. Tug

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Went Salmon fishing early this morning in the rain, caught this 10# plus Atlantic Salmon. Do they ever jump and fight. Was great fun. Tug http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb3 ... 1967-1.jpg

    Lock Thru Question

That is correct , there are vertical cables closely spaced where the boats lines slide up or down the cables. I think that both procedures you mentioned would work. The Lock Master told me that he raises and lowers the lock slowly so there is less turbulence . A single rope at the mid-ship...

    Lock Thru Question

It is probably best if I bring an additional person with me during my first trip, that way I will be able to see how things go. Thanks for you replies. Tug

    Lock Thru Question

It gives the depth of the lock as 44 feet, I am not sure if this is the rise and drop or just the total depth of the empty lock. Tug

I tried thickened epoxy on the first hole and it didn't work out.. I guess it was too thick and than ended up putting untreated epoxy in the holes. .Thanks Tug

    CockPit floor

I brought my boat home from the marina early this morning a drilled 9 core samples with a 3/8" drill about 3/8 of an inch deep. I may add that these pictures are not the best. http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb3 ... 0_1932.jpg http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb3 ... 0_1930.jpg...

    CockPit floor

I am going to bring the boat home in the next few days and drill a few holes to get a better idea , if there is not too much water damage I might just go ahead and do the repairs now. Thanks Tug

    CockPit floor

If I need to replace a larger section of the cockpit, does anyone know exactly what the original floors dimensions were on a 1985...like was it one inch of plywood sandwiched between 1/4 inch ?? of fiberglass cloth. I probably will not be able to determine any dimensions by taking a small...
