Wiring harness came today at 2 PM. At 3 PM I was at Bass Pro Service Center. Had a frank discussion with them. Asked if they had all parts. YES Asked if I could pick the boat up tomorrow by 5 PM. They laughed. I didn't. They gave me an estimate of 3 to 5 hours for installation. I told them there...

    Wallas Stove not working

Have had several conversations with Bill who has been very helpful. He is trying everything to keep me from having to send it in. One last test to do today. Jumper the two contacts to the overheating sensor. If that fails, then the only choice is to send it in. It is a 2005 model so perhaps...

    Wallas Stove not working

Talked to the company. Followed their instructions. Volt meter shows pump is not getting a pulsed signal to pump. If it was the pump it was going to cost $250 for the pump alone. Now???? New circuit board???????? Sounds like an expensive repair. Will know more tomorrow...

Advice on replacing boat trailer for our C-Dory Cruiser 22

When we bought Emma Mae, the PO had just bought a Venture trailer for it. I'm pleased with the quality and ride. We have trailers sailboats all over the US and Canada. This is the first aluminum trailer we have owned. If I were in the market, I wouldn't hesitate buying another. Be sure to get...

Several years ago we bought a Compac 23 Pilothouse in BC, Canada. Brought it back into the states at Blaine, Washington. Then trailered it back home to Illinois. Not inspected in Washington. Inspected at the Idaho border. They tagged the motor. At the Montana border they accepted the Idaho tag...
