Alaska Series tender with long-shaft outboard

Hey Dan. Yes we are still using the Suzi 2.5. It is a very good fit for the dingy. It is easy to manually put on and off the dingy from our cdory Due to its light weight. It is always easy to start and very quiet running. I highly recommend it. If you could work it out for us to cross the...

Is shutting down the economy worth it?

With a simple internet search one can find any statistics they want to support their predisposed views on the world. We can believe whatever we choose, but that does not make it true.

Is shutting down the economy worth it?

If the President’s main reason for wanting to reopen the economy is re-election, I’m good with that. It’s not like there is a viable alternative. I did not vote for him because I liked him, it was because I believed he would follow through with campaign promises which he did. Our economy has to...

    Are you hunkering down?

Another interesting listen. I’m not into conspiracy theories but hope there is an honest investigation at some point. https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=you ... si9csLNb-Y

Is shutting down the economy worth it?

Jay, glad you are also getting outside. Me and some friends gave our wives a break yesterday and did some bass fishing on Dwhorshak Reservoir. It has boat launches and campgrounds operated by Corp of Engineers and State Parks. The camp grounds are still closed but tentative plans to open up May...

Is shutting down the economy worth it?

Enjoyed your post Peter. Attached is an interesting article that I believe summarizes our situation in the US. Makes one wonder if we have turned into a bunch of sheep. I spent over 40 years in a fairly high risk occupation so it really struck a chord with me. I’m planning to live life...

Is shutting down the economy worth it?

Enjoy the sky for now. It will soon be obscured by smoke in a naturally functioning wildfire dependent ecosystem.

Is shutting down the economy worth it?

Thank you Will and Steady Eddy for sharing your perspectives. Bob, thank you also for your experienced judgment on the medical front. Very refreshing after listening to politicians and others running around with their hair on fire. Ken

Is shutting down the economy worth it?

A VERY thought provoking read! Copied from a friend. I am just sharing this post to see people’s thoughts and opinions. I was reading some posts for and against reopening the country. One was talking about being selfish and it got me to thinking. There are those wanting to reopen yet they’re...

    Are you hunkering down?

Not arguing with anyone. Just offering other perspectives. If we’ are going to destroy the economy and our way of life, we should question everything. Here is another perspective I’ll share for the sake of discussion. “Thoughts from an old veterinarian: Wanna stay healthy? It’s a sunny warm...

    Are you hunkering down?

Thanks Jay for your encouragement. Idaho is now under a shelter in place order as of yesterday. Basically all this means is use some common sense. It does not mean stay in your home and wait for the world to end by destroying our economy. We spent a beautiful day hiking the White Bird Battle...

    Are you hunkering down?

Was enjoying the original theme of this discussion but rather boring now that it somehow turned political. We are hunkering down not too much different than normal life. Even the county orders to shelter in place do not effect our normal routine too much. We do plan to get out on some low...

    Are you hunkering down?

Some encouragement from our financial advisor: As I always try to find the silver-lining to life's challenges, over the next few weeks we will all have the opportunity to connect more with our family. A client told me recently that, because she is working more from home, she is spending more...

    My understanding wife

Harvey, I agree on the Alaska series. The one problem I have with it though is the motor mount tubing rusts readily and has stained the gel coat on the roof. Thinking about having a stainless or aluminum mount fabricated.

    My understanding wife

I was forced to buy radar by my understanding wife. We got caught in the fog and glimpsed a passing oil tanker passing as the fog briefly lifted. Recall something to the effect of “We are not ever doing that again!”
