I ordered this Smartsheild product today. It is 10mm (1/2”) with an R20 value. Plans are to use 3M aerosol adhesive to apply it on the hull and ceiling of the Vberth and possibly on the cabin ceiling.

Good point Bob. I was thinking the 5mm would be a good compromise as it would be flexible enough to conform to the irregular surfaces using aerosol contact cement.
