Very interesting Roger and worth trying. Do you tie them bend-to-bend or eye-to-eye? What type of knots? Too much trouble to snap a pic?

i usually try to avoid the madness of the derby. may fish the afternoon/evenings after the crowds have thinned. will see how the reports go. it can be a circus out there and people can get ugly when money is involved...especially ten grand!
