I whole-heartedly agree with Boris, choose a light color. I chose dark green to match my boat, big mistake, it heats the interior well above 120F on a summer day. It even melts any plastic it comes in contact with.

The people-count of Dora~Jean has been reduced to 2, just Alex and myself. My wife was requested to fly back East for a family commitment, she said to tell the group she will miss them but happy as well where she's going!

Just as another data point, I also have Yamaha F80's (2), Model F80TLRB. The manufacture date imprinted on the motor is 7/2002. So I guess like boats manufactured in July, they are considered the next year.

You can always remove the drain plug if it rains, that's what I do--but here in SoCal, that's a RARE EVENT.

Yes, easier to float your boat when unloading/loading at a ramp.
