I've done blackened butts with a cajun mix from store a few times. Always very good. Always looking for new variations for cooking butts since so spoiled with them here in Homer. Butt tacos are also favorites with taco mix and crema.

Bob, I have that same high back chair and I love it. The short arms make getting in and out easy and I don't miss not having moveable arm. Price was great too. Two years now and good as new.

Same problem. Sometimes made worse if pump rate is set too high. I have stack of absorption pads on board and use one to smother fill opening. Note: If you fill too slow at the end, it may not be enough flow to trigger nozzle shut off and end up flowing out of vent port. Don't ask me how I know.

Welcome to my world! 😉 So far my best remedy has been a thin line of 4200 at top of rubrail. Has dramatically reduced intrusion but not all. Temp fix till I can get rubrails reseated and sealed.

Thanks Bob. I have more than I'll ever need with the two sixes I currently have so replacing them would be sufficient. Looking at all those soldered connections that need to be redone is daunting though.
