A minor correction: Unless a law has slipped by me, the State of Alabama owns all of the beach up to the high-high water mark (?). This is so anyone can walk down any beach in the state and no area can be fenced down to the water.

An important thing to remember is that propane gas is heavier than air and will thus fill up your boat/bilge form the bottom. Can you say BOOM??? It is an excellent source of heat if used properly.

Thanks for the help. The Saturns are on sale right now and frankly the price seemed too good for a durable boat. You folks have eased my mind. Think I'll go for it.

Anybody have any experience with Saturn Inflatable Boats? I'm looking for very a small tender for our CD25 and these seem to be ideal in the 8' to 9' range, but I've never seen one in person.

I'm wondering about my Air Head, a composting toilet. Neither a porta-potty in the purest sense, nor can it be pumped out. Well, it could be pumped out but all that peat moss would wreck the hell out of a macerator. Not going to the keys, but what starts in Florida rarely stays in Florida.
