    Pram tender

Thanks, I had my doubts about using the pram as a tender, now I have an excuse to buy another boat!

    Pram tender

Anyone use a pram or sabot as a tender on a 22 before? Wondering if it's stable with a small outboard?

    Roof rack modification help

The T fitting is sawn in half after a length of pvc is pushed in both ends to act as a bushing then trimmed flush. I used two stainless hose clamps on each T fitting that sandwiched the grab rail.

    Roof rack modification help

I have built a pvc roof rack as well, one of the best additions to the boat, 1 inch pvc with wood dowels inside, I covered the dowels with silicone before inserting into the pvc, very strong and less than 100 bucks to build. T fittings and a small riser were used to elevate the rails off the...

    Marketing C-Dory Boats

Like has been said numerous times already I can hardly leave the gas station from all the interest the boat gets and when afloat at the dock it's a full time job answering ?'s about the boat, a flyer would be a godsend :thup

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

What a gift to all to have the factory so closely involved with the c-brat members in the constant improvement and evolution of an already great boat design. Merry Christmas to all! :star :star :star

    Spare Prop?

Cruising without a spare prop is like driving without a spare tire, don't do it. :!:

    Considering a fresh water washdown.

Yes, a raw water washdown is a good idea, I just don't like the idea of a thru hull fitting on a balsa core boat, if not done properly it can cause some major issues, so what I did is plumb a hose over the transom and secured it to the swimgrid. This way no holes in the bottom of the boat, make...

    Laptop Table or Mount

I previously used the center dash to run my laptop and nobeltec as well but with the size of the screen my view out the center window was always restricted. Mounting the laptop in the way I mentioned earlier helps alot with visibility and also makes it easier to open the center window. One other...

    Laptop Table or Mount

Umm, how can I explain this properly without a photo. The laptop mount I was trying to explain rests neither on the admiral seat nor in the v-berth, the drawer sliders attach just under the entry to the v-berth on the raised portion of the center console so when extended can be used from either...

    Laptop Table or Mount

Sorry, I just put the boat in storage so won't be able to post photos right now. I got the drawer sliders from home depot, they are made for a computer desk black in color and are height adjustable, come with the mounting hardware and are easy to install. Highly recommend this install it really...

    Laptop Table or Mount

I just completed a labtop mount on my 22, the mount consists of a couple of drawer sliders and a peice of starboard. Location is out of the way when not in use under the raised portion for the entry to the v-berth. Very happy with the install and a simply project to complete. :thup

    Webasto heaters

Thats kinda what I thought as well, Seawolf. After working in aviation for a number of years I was amazed what customers would pay for an "aircraft part" that differed very little or not at all from the same part purchased from an automotive supplier!

    Webasto heaters

Can anyone tell me the difference between the truck and marine model of the webasto at2000st heaters, I was doing some searching online and there is a $2000 price difference between one sold at a trucking outfit and one sold at a marine supplier. I'm assuming the marine model has more stainless...

    Suggestion Box for C-Dory Factory

Maybe this has already been mentioned, vetus portholes in the v- berth would be a great factory option for the 22.

Is this a good idea or just smoke and mirrors

When I was working in aviation we did this on a regular basis. Trend monitoring as it's called is useful in detecting a problem before it turn into a costly repair or an engine or component failure in flight. When an oil analysis came back with a significant difference in contaminants from the...
