Harvey, Camille & I are heading up to the Broughton's tomorrow in our Nordic Tug. I have the C-brats MMSI # programmed in the VHF and will keep an eye (and ear) out for you. Our tug is a 26', red and white, named "Magick". We estimate we'll be in the Broughton's in 10d or so. jd

    OpenCpn for Android

Harvey, Canada does not share navigation charts in the public domain. Thus, neither opencpn nor mxmariner offers them for download. Both opencpn (for pc) and mxmariner (for android) offer U.S. public domain charts for download. Their online manuals describe the process in detail. jd

I can echo all of both the pro & con comments already stated. I like to do my own work. Instead of working in my...

    West Marine closing in Canada

In looking over the list of exhibitors for the Seattle Boat Show I noticed that West Marine is not listed. Seems odd they wouldn't be there. Could their financial struggles be more significant that just needing to close Canadian stores? jd

    West Marine closing in Canada
