    Trailerable Aft-Cabin Cruiser ?

I dunno fellas... That's one ugly vessel if you ask me. Looks like they used a pickup canopy as a 'hardtop' over the fore and aft cabins. I think the trend is catching on...

Everett ramp at a -2.0 tide

Thanks for all the info fellas. I've heard good things about that ramp but having never been there - much less at a low low tide - I needed a little advice. Nothing like being stuck at a ramp waiting for the water to rise. I do have 4WD so it I should be in good shape. Thanks again!

Everett ramp at a -2.0 tide

Anyone ever launch a CD at the Everett ramp during low tide. I'll be launching this Friday around noon - looks like a -2.0. I've never launched there before. I called the marina office and all I got was, "we maintain our facilities to be useable at all times." Let's just say I wasn't...

Our first event, and what a treat!! Many new faces - and names, and many memories to go along with all of them! Thanks to all of the attendees for making this such an incredible event. Well done Larry for the organization and hospitality. Chuck - great back-channel cruise!!!! Memo to...

    Halibut

Are there any 'buts lurking in the depths around the south end of Whidbey Island? I'm planning to be up there the weekend of April 29-30 and would like to give it a try. I'll be launching from Mukilteo. The fellas that I'm going with have never fished for halibut either, so it's a classic...

    C-Dory Sightings

While cruising through the North Portland Harbor yesterday, I spotted 2 mystery 22s. A light gray one facing east, moored in a slip at Sundance Marina with twin Hondas. Couldn't see much more than the transom, so not sure about a name. The memberlist shows a brat by the name of pgsequei with...

    Sharing MMSI numbers

Exactly! We can't start using it until we plug in some MMSI numbers. At least I don't think so... I have the same radio - a Ray54. There's no documentation on how to test it, or simulate a call, so once the nerds create a place for our MMSI# in our profile, we can look up the numbers of some...

    Sharing MMSI numbers

Here's a thought... Would there be any interest in posting our MMSI numbers to allow individual and/or group calling while on the water? This could also be followed up by a position request to see other Brats within the range of your VHF signal. This is an alternative to the conventional...

03/18 - CB CR Yacht Club Dinner

The 18th works for us. I agree that Beaches is a good choice. The only other joint that comes to mind is BJ's Restaurant and Brewery http://www.bjsbrewhouse.com/ right off I-5 at Jantzen Beach. Not quite as swanky/spendy as Beaches - just another option that hadn't been mentioned.

    Ugliest boat afloat ?

Not sure if this qualifies as ugly, or just downright creative... Runabout + truck canopy = cabin cruiser!!
