John, you are one of the most decent salesman I know and I can't believe you are trying to pedal these incredible seaworthy vessels on a pond in New Hampshire. I will be there just to see you get a little SALT water spray in your hair.
Have been on boats up and down the Eastern seaboard all my life (60yrs) either on my parents boats or mine. Pembroke, ChrisCraft, Luhrs for them and Whaler(s), Grady White and AquaSport for me with a range of 18' to 34' All I can say is the obvious, every boat handle different seas...
Also Striper Wars, by Dick Russell. A reality check on the health of the species. Shadow Divers by Robert Kurson. A deep dive search of a German U-boat. And no one should even leave the dock without a Hiasson on board!
During the last docking of the season, a 3-point landing put a scratch through my green tirm into the white hull. Any ideas on repairing. This is my first season with a boat that I know I will own for decades and until this weekend was "showroom floor" new.
