Just another thought on Porta potties, I bought 2 regular thetford 5 gallon models (forget model number) and on longer cruises with two teenage daughters and my girlfriend, I take one Porta potti and the black water half of the other one. When/if the tank fills up, I just swap out the other...

Look at the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel. Tows up to 9000lbs, gets over 30mpg highway in 2wd version. I have a 4wd Larimie Crew Cab and tow my 23 Venture (5680lbs loaded) and I get 17mpg highway. Love the truck.

I have the 9500 btu rooftop air, Honda eu2000 on a bracket in the splash well, and a 3 gallon moeller tank with an extended run cap/ kit off of eBay for about $75. It will run the AC all night for 3 nights without refilling. 23 Venture.

I have a Suzuki 9.9 four stroke, electric start, power tilt, steering coupler to my main engine. Engine will move my 23 Venture fully loaded at a solid 6.5mph full throttle and 5.5 mph at 3/4 throttle. Runs great, very smooth and quiet.

I've been doing the Loop for 3 years now. My first three summers have been at 6 kts in a diesel trawler getting 11 smpg. Now, I'm resuming my cruise in Hilton Head on the new to me 23 Venture. I'll start up in May and take my time up the East coast, averaging 4-5 smpg. I cruise in the summer...

I have an 08 23 Venture with a Suzuki 150, 9.9 kicker, radar, AC, Honda 2K generator, and various gear on board. Half tanks, two adults, 3800RPM= 21-23 mph on GPS. 3.5-4.5 MPG

Update: I've put another 2.5 hrs on the motor with no recurring power problems. I don't know what the Hell is wrong, but if it never comes back, I'm happy.
