Has anyone tried the crab hawk or crab snare? Both are used with a rod and reel. We would like to have some fun crabing without getting too seriouse about it. Just want to catch enough for dinner on the boat - if we happen to be out during crab season.

It is located in the cockpit and comes out on the port side of the "bench." We got it mostly for resale value, but have found it surprisingly handy.

That is where ours is mounted. Takes up a lot of counter space..... We ended up storing our microwave on top when we are docked. I move the microwave to the table when we are underway. The positives are you don't have the wallace system to maintain and you have extra storage without the fuel...

We have one, but have not put it to use yet. You are correct about the small propane bottle that screws in. Looks to be fairly easy to use. Nancy

We are on the south side of E dock at Edmonds - red ranger tug next to Sarge. Give us a yell, if you see us. We are often down hanging out on the tug. Have yet to meet Sarge, but sure enjoy him as a slip mate. Nancy and Kerry

Rick- Just a quick thank you for the fantastic work the Coast Gaurd does. In the PNW we hear them helping boaters all the time on the radio. I hope we never need your services, but it is great to know the CG is out there. Nancy

I wiped everything down with old damp towels to remove all the crud. Then I used the Lysol wipes. Still trying to decide what to do about the telltale glue on some of the walls. Goopoff has been recommended, but I am hesitating. Don't want to ruin the shine. Nancy
