    Our new (old) C-dory!

....and, we're back! We were the original owners of this great boat( then known as <grin>), but sold her in 2007 after many adventures and bought a Camano 31 trawler. We sold our trawler last December thinking that we would probably like to get another C-Dory. Our friend Steve (srbaum) let us...

    Tomcat in a Boatel?

Do they lift it with a travelift and slings? I didn't think that you could lift it with forks on the hulls due to the steep angle of the hull sides. Scott and Teri on <grin> :-)

    Tomcat in a Boatel?

We are thinking about moving up to a Tomcat from our 22 cruiser. We currently have our boat in a "boatel" where they lift the boat out of the water and put it on a rack with a giant forklift. Does anyone know if keeping a Tomcat at a boatel has been done or is even possible? I know that a...

Day trips on the Chesapeake from Cutter Marine

It certainly was a beautiful couple of days. We are definately going to the Langford gathering. Last year we had only had the boat for a week when we went to the first edition of the "gathering". It was weekend full of great people, great fun and great boats! We are planning on heading out...

Day trips on the Chesapeake from Cutter Marine

Dawn Treader, I think that we saw you coming into Middle River as we were heading out. We didn't make it as far as you did, just up to the Seneca for a night on the hook and then a day poking around the Gunpowder river. Scott and Teri on <grin> :-)

    Bomar Hatch Screen

I think that we have the same screen that Tom got. It's called a Bugbusters hatch screen made by Sogeman in Canada. They come in various sizes but the 25x25 model fits the forward hatch on a 22' perfectly. We bought ours from Defender for about $45. Kind of spendy, but well worth it in our...

    Wastewater Disposal

I found it! The item that we need in order to use the standard marine pumpout for our portapotties is called a "Potty Wand." I think that there may be a couple of manufacturers of something similar, but Edson has one for $16 here --> http://www.edsonpumps.com/CoastalData/s ... roup_ID=28 I...

    Wastewater Disposal

We too were wondering about the portapottie emptying issue. We keep our boat in a marina and were instructed that we couldn't empty in the marina toilets because they were on a septic tank system. They said that we could use the pumpout but would need an "adaptor" of some sort. Would this be the...

    06/03 - 06/05 Eastern Shore, Maryland gathering

After our first (great!) weekend on our new boat, we have determined that it would be criminal for us to miss the Eastern Shore Gathering next week. We are planning on cruising over from Cutter on Saturday. Hopefully, there will be a place for a couple of newbies to squeeze in! Scott and Teri

    The time has finally come!

Greetings all! Scott and Teri here. We've been lurking on this site since it started, and the time has finally come... We saw her at the Bay Bridge boat show in April, and she has been pulling duty as Cutter's demo boat, but come this Thursday, she will be ours! She is a Cabernet 22 foot...
