Seeking Experienced Captain for 1st Launch! Tacoma, WA

My husband and I are the proud new owners of Absolut Delight, and she made her trek home to Washington from Tennessee this week!

She is currently trailered at our house. We found moorage at Foss and are hoping to launch her in the next two weeks. We have boat experience as crew but only limited helm time and this will actually be our first time on a C Dory.

We’re hoping to find a patient and experienced captain to help with launch at the Point Defiance boat ramp, spend some time trying her out in Commencement Bay, practice docking, and ultimately get her to our slip at Foss. Is this you? We’re happy to pay for your time.

Hello, I I'm willing to help. I'm definitely not the most experienced, I got my 22' C-dory last November and take it out most weekends. I live north of Seattle and can come down most any Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
When I got my boat I took it to Lake Washington and spent a couple hours going through everything like adjusting trim and making sure the trim tabs worked, them I took it out the locks and all around Puget sound.

I'm taking my boat out today. I plan to lanch in Kenmore and head down to Tacoma.
