Occasionally you may find a 22 cruiser under $25,000. Unfortunately most have gone for almost double that recenty. There are a couple for $28,500. At the lower price you may be looking at a repower in the next few years (15K range). Occasionally a 22 comes up with a low hp--50 or so. and those sell for in the range you are interested. If you see a boat in your price range, I would take a look at it, get it surveyed (hull and motor), and make a decision. A kicker, good electronics, camper back, all add significant value to these boats. Occasionally one of the very old (good boats) or abused 25's come along in the upper 30K range.
