I like C-Dorys because they have everything you need to fish and cruise. Hardtop with a helm, dinette and galley. V berth to sleep in and a cockpit big enough to sit and relax and be able to fish when the chairs are stowed. C-Dory boats have a fuel efficient hull that doesn't need a ton of horsepower to run on plane. The 25 has a stand up head, which most female crew members really appreciate. We installed the Airhead brand composting head after several C-Brats made the conversion.
They aren't the fastest boats out there, but they are very utilitarian and you'll find many who appreciate that it looks like a very seaworthy boat, because it is.
