How can I reach a moderator?

Thanks very much. I had already posted the new price of $24,000 below my listing... Am guessing the Moderator will catch this and change it in the ad...?

How can I reach a moderator?

I'm trying to change my asking price for my '91 22' C-Dory in the listing. I believe I have to, somehow, "reach" the Moderator to do this but I can't seem to find out how... Help will be much appreciated! Thank you, Wes Shaw

Need recommendation on a hand held GPS

I own 7 or 8 Garmins (3 hand-helds and the rest fixed) and the DeLorme Earthmate PN 20 handheld. It is by far the best and most accurate of them all. The charting/mapping software is superior, satellite view excellent, and it is extremely user friendly... Waterproof/resistant I take it with...

    Uh Oh!

Thank you for the Nash pic.... It does bring back many memories from the 50's. His car before the Nash was a LaSalle with the running boards and rumble seat I sat wrapped in many a time... After the straight-8 block cracked when the old antifreeze went dead he gave it to me but I foolishly...

    Uh Oh!

Reading these reminded me of back in the 50's when I was talking a 'girl' to the Junior prom. She had on a pretty dress with all those hoops etc. and was nervous about riding in the cab of my 1939 Ford pick-up. Sooooooooo, I asked my Dad if I could just possible use his Nash (one of the ones...

Any Downeast Maine get-to gethers planned?

Hello Charlie.... Nice to hear from you and I've spent many a blissfull night at Roque Island back in my 'younger' sail/cruising days. Would enjoy getting together when you're here this fall and sharing C-Dory stories, etc.... There's another 22 in South Gouldsboro within 6 miles of my spot...

Towing a dinghy at high speeds

Dear Lloyds... Totally agree with you re. the 'sweet spot' on back of second stern wave and had to chuckle when you mention the rope burns.... I always take a turn around a stern cleat or post and pay her out slowly... I bring her in a bit, if necessary, by milking the standing portion...

Towing a dinghy at high speeds

Prfofessional Hobyist: Regarding the "fixed" tow method, I'd strongly recommend against it for reasons cited in the other responses AND, especially, the importance of having both vessel and dinghy/skiff/towed boat ride in SYNC with the swells—especially when running downwind in heavy swells...
