Exactly! Its so frustrating to see how some are so fast to start installing screws everywhere when often you can use al alternative via epoxy/3M 4200....
I saw this video recently and while I feel bad he had issues I think he should have elaborated on how this happened. He seemed to leave that part out. Also, did he contact C-Dory and give them a chance to assist him? I am not a big poster on this site but I have been around boats most of my...
Thanks for the replys! Still researching and trying to get info on lead time from Tohatsu. In my case my outboard mechanic deals extensively with Tohatsu so thats a big part of it.
Hi,
Looking to re-power a 22 Angler. My mechanic is a long time Tohatsu Dealer and suggested Twin Tohatsu's. He mentioned that Tohatsu is now manufacturing many of their 4 strokes and will continue to phase out the Rebranded Honda Models. I was wondering if anyone has Powered the 22 Angler...

I read other threads indicating that the anchor locker is within an inner structure meaning that if you wanted to install a drain you had to accommodate by using a sleeve. I inspected my anchor locker and there seems to be no inner structure. I seems as though the lower side of the locker is...
Greetings,
I have a 22' Angler and take it to Catalina. I always keep a close tab on the weather and am flexible on days I cross the Channel. Once I was caught in 7'-8' Seas and really was shaken up. After arriving in Avalon I met someone who had made the crossing from San Clemente Island to...
Hi,
My fuel gage was not working. After several hours of troubleshooting I discovered that if I held the "spring loaded" toggle switch to one side the fuel gage worked. I was thinking that the switch is defective. Then on second thought I am wondering if this type of switch maintians...
I removed the long Brass Cover that runs over the Bow. I removed about 7 or 8 stainless screws. At least 2 of the holes the screws came out of had water dripping out of them. My conclusion is that water was entering thru the screws and getting into the inside of the boat in the enclosed Bow...
Thanks for the replies.
This C-Dory does not have an anchor or locker inside . I checked around the hatch and all the thru-bolt for the bow eye for the trailer but did not notice anything indicating a potential area for water to enter. Actually I think it may be coming in from the Bull Nose...
Has anyone Fitted one of these on a C-Dory?
