    05/18 - 05/20 - 2018 Friday Harbor CBGT

So good to see you all and meet new people. What a perfect size gathering. I tried to load photos here on the site, but our internet service is literally in a tree down the street, so our PC would time out before the load could finish. (That, and I accidentally closed the browser once...)...

09/29 - 10/01 - Stuart Island, San Juan Islands WA

Given the rain and wind forecast, Fred and I didn't expect to see many folks, let alone a dozen! Thanks so much to all who came, you made it a lot of fun.

    Broughtons August trip

Thanks Fred for posting the link, and to the rest of you for the kind words about the article. I figured out how to add links to make it easier to find specific sections, and, of course, added more pictures!

    06/11 - 06/13 - Langley, WA 2010

Holy Cow! Glad we got Little Buddy safely home on Saturday. We complained about the 1 footers... Now I feel really guilty. The audio on the video isn't right, but the spirit sure is... //robbin

    Ecofan: Worth it? Fragile?

You may have seen a photo of me on this site where I'm huddled up in a yellow hoodie right in front of the Wallas trying to get warm. We may go out for Thanksgiving again this year, and I'd like to leave the hoodie off when I'm in the cabin. We're looking at getting an Ecofan and want to...

    C-Dory next to Cape Cruiser

Gee, I think the first rocket launchers I saw were on DaNag, so I'd say you're into it for a case of beer.

    C-Dory next to Cape Cruiser

Ah TyBoo, I sit here and prattle on and you distill the essence perfectly. I do prefer a girlie beer, however. :love Robbin (Fred tells me only girls use :love 's. Perfect.)

    C-Dory next to Cape Cruiser

DaNag: You caught my point exactly. I don't post on here often, and Fred tells me this has been a controversial topic in the past. I wasn't thinking about that when I took these pictures. When I saw the two boats together yesterday, I thought it was pretty cool to be able to see and compare...

    Insideous Sixteenitis: No Known Cure

The 16 is a total blast to drive. I even docked it the first try, and I'd never docked a boat before. OK, the water was calm and Fred was giving me move-by-move directions. But still... It's so funny, this is our fourth C-Dory and in some ways I'm more excited about it than the 25'. Some...

Fishing Poem & Merry Christmas from Fred and Robbin!

I heard this poem on NPR yesterday and thought of all you folks who like to fish. Fred said it was "cute" (high praise from Fred) so I wanted to share. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/stor ... Id=5066454 I'm so sorry I won't be able to see you folks at the boat show; duty calls me to...

    Anita Marie Moving On Up!

Oh for goodness sake, I thought Fred was only this obtuse at home! It's not that dramatic, we're getting the 25' Nomad from Les. I saw it last weekend as we were returning from Cornet Bay and said, "Hey, all the other kids are getting bigger boats and darnit I want one too!" It was the icy...

    Did It With Les!

Fred and I considered getting a tall pilot house for Anita Marie, but didn't, and we're glad. I don't think the extra room would be that useful, and it raises the overall height of the boat, making it REALLY tall if you add a radar arch. Frankly, I thought it looked a little odd.
