I just bought a 2009 TomCat and have the transponder for the fish finder/depth mounted on the transom. It is not working at speeds over about 8 knots due (I assume) to turbulence. I'm thinking I may need an in-hull mount or I may have to go with a through-hull fitting. The catamaran hulls...
