The water was located under the matress in the v berth. I had a small amount of water on the floor of the cabin.

Recently I have had some water in my forward cabin after towing my boat , a 25 ' cruiser, during a rain storm. Would this be caused from : water coming in windlass / anchor area, hatches not adequately shut, or what ??? Appreciate any suggestions on what / how to determine the source of water.
