    C-Dory Meet Up in Midwest

And yet you are the most prolific gathering attendee that I know!!! 😁 At a minimum I bet you trailer more miles per year than anyone else. Good job on FindPenguins for the Powell trip and the Friday gathering 👍 James

    Check your straps

Good advice, thank you. Seems you got real lucky, and to get it taken care of so quickly while traveling is rare. You must be living right! Fortunately the safety chain did its job and shows its appropriately named. Just recently Dale had his boat totaled while trailering, a beautiful 25. James

Donald, thank you and there is always more to say so ti’ll the next time. Colby, obviously we are going to need at least another couple more gatherings to get that page colored in 😁. It trust you’ll be back ( but not for without Rosanne). Safe travels the rest of the year….. James

    03/04 - 03/06 - Hontoon Island, Florida 2025

The crew of the Molly Brown seconds those sentiments. Many, many thanks to Tom and Joyce of C-Otter!! Your time, effort and planning are much appreciated. Also kudos to those that took the time to attend. You all are what makes these gatherings a special event. Best to all! James

I check the water at À dock (furthest away from the ferry) and the water at the very end on the T had clear water and no smell. This was Sunday afternoon.

    HIGHWAY CRASH BRINGS BIG CHANGES...

Jeez Dale! Your boat was pristine and you were customizing it nicely. Sounds like a good resolution to a bad situation. Congrats on the new boat, and yes, I've no doubt the boat will be welcome at any gathering. Hontoon is coming up...... James

    Molly’s Great American Loop

The crew of the Molly Brown completed her loop on Sunday, January 5th. It was an amazing adventure. Some rough stats for those who may be thinking of doing it some day..... Just shy of 10 months continuous (301 days) 809 engine hours 7134 miles travelled (this was with side trips and the...

    C-BRATS 2025 Calendar: Requesting Photos!

Hey Colby! Since C-Brats isn’t the manufacturer, and we’ve had a few over the years, and that you are the top serial photo submitter, I nominate you as lead for a yearly calendar! It would save you the time to submit them and you could use any of your many photos. I’d buy one every year. James

    Happy Thanksgiving

Bob, it was an honor to spend 5 days and Thanksgiving at your house. Your many friends are all well accomplished folks and the stories and tales last a lifetime. Gigi was great for Moki so the crew of Molly Brown was blessed to have been included….many thanks! James

    03/04 - 03/06 - Hontoon Island, Florida 2025

I second Bob’s comment….Tom and Joyce are the backbone and heart of these gatherings. No words to adequately express our gratitude! Molly Brown plans to be there but still being on the Great Loop it’s going to be tight. Might even have the boat up for sale 😔 as Betty is pushing hard to make...

Shorepower issues on AICW Loop Segment

We’ve been on the loop for about 4.5 months now and have used all sorts of power supplies, some suspect and some state of the art. So far we’ve had no issues. We have 10ga from the shore power plug to the main breaker panel. Granted we don’t have a complicated wiring set up and our total draw...

    North Channel

Dale: Betty and I, with Moki dog and Luna cat, are on our Great Loop. We’re currently in the Thousand Islands, then headed to the Trent Severn coming out in Georgian Bay then the North Channel. You might be a little early for us to meet up but you can find us on Nebo or follow along at...

    Molly’s Great American Loop

John, I thought you’d like to know I’m back rereading your thread. On our way to Schenectady on the Erie Canal west bound to visit with friends, it was decided to backtrack afterwards and go up the Champlain route. We are currently just south of lock 9 on the Richelieu. It’s what happens when...

Tomcat 24 vs 25 Cruiser for Kids and fishing and rough water

Holy Cow! Just came across this thread and I’m sure glad that back in 2002 the 24’ was the only other choice back then. Bought a 22 in 2000 and our current 24’ in July 2002. The 24’ felt like 3 times the size of the original 22’ we bought…what luxury. Is the 255 a nice boat? Sure it is...
