With your help I figured out that a mmsi number has not been installed...:) No resetting needed, sent away for my own MMSI number. Hopefully I will be up and running in a week Leon :smilep

yea........Masset has a population of 884 in 2011 and the total population of Haida Gwaii 4761, one person to around 3/4 of a square mile......very crowded place. I really hope you enjoy your trip, I am thinking about doing that in another year or so, but either boating over from Prince Rupert...

Water should dilute the alcohol and put out the fire, that is suppose to be one of the good points of using alcohol stoves on a boat.

Well...........you could leave it at my place in Terrace BC, but that is a tiny bit over a 100 miles from Prince Rupert. Or you could launch from Kitimat BC, and that would be around 45 miles to Terrace, but Kitimat would add around 150 miles to your alaska trip. Not sure how you would get back...

Thanks Harvey, bought a little Toyota Tacoma and hauled it all the way back to Terrace BC. My retirement toy, hoping to start using it full time next year, working on a bunch of little things on it. Leon
