I can't say how it will do but I did see a 16' with a 70 horse here in Juneau last summer. I have a 45 Honda with a Yamaha 8 horse on the transom and no problem.

My 16' Angler has a 8 horse yamaha kicker and will troll as slow as you like. It also will move the boat at 5 knots as currently outfitted. :D

You may want to consider a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. There are seats that are made to fit. Peat moss, sawdust, etc. to cover. No #1 keeps the odor down. A vent could be added and/or store in cockpit. Line it with a plastic bag for easy disposal. Voila, basic composting head.

I mounted a thin piece of plastic cutting board material using 5200 and weighted it down. Then screwed the base of the pump to it after it was set. Bought an Amarine pump and an on, off manual switch for it. Roughed up the fiberglass with sandpaper before setting the 5200. Worked out fine.

There is an open console 22 on Juneau craigslist with a 115 horse for $14,000.
