Sounds like you have something to keep you busy for a little while. Kind of a good thing these days. Good thing is you can fix it yourself and know you did it right.

That motor will probably turn out to be just fine. Keep it flushed lubed and fresh fuel and you will have a hard time killing it.

Thanks for the quick replies. Forgot to mention my tow vehicle is a 2018 Tundra ext cab long bed with the 5.7 V-8. Should do ok on this side of the Rockies I guess.
