You can safely navigate to the Interstate 95 bridge in Richmond. Most don't go past the 'big rock". You can't miss it. East of Jordan Point takes you to Jamestown. A nice trip is from there is on the Chickahominy River. There is a full service Marina with store, transient slips, pump out, hotel...

Man that site looks great! Kudos! I noticed that the Venture 29 and the center console are not listed. Dropped or just not listed yet? Also; the fuel consumption specs for the Venture 26 seem too good to be true.

It is noteworthy that the Venture 26 is made with NO wood coring at all but high density foam instead. I seem to remember that someone (maybe Dr Bob?) stated that the 26 is built at the Skagit Orca plant. It will be interesting to follow the Venture 26 over time to see how it holds up relative...

Interesting...the above Alaskan Pilot may be fitted with either i/o or twin ob power. With an 8'6" beam and a dry weight of 6350 lbs (less engine(s)?) it is trailerable but I bet it is tall. With a deadrise of 22 degrees it is no dory hull though.

If I missed this discussion, please delete this topic...but I just noticed on the C-Dory site that the Venture 26 listed as having a High Density Foam Core..unlike any other C-Dory (excluding the Skagit Orca line), which have balsa composite core. :?:

Wow...for that price you are now into the range of the Albins. I went on the new "cruiser" version of the 28TE at a boat how just a few days ago. Impressive. There is nothing out there that, imo, is comparable with either a TC-255 or any of the CDory models. However the size and price of the 29...

Well, that certainly IS a Cape Cruiser; but it is NOT a "one only" ; and although a "Toland" boat, it is NOT manufactured by C-Dory. The story behind the legal battle is in a thread elsewhere on this forum. In case anyone missed this, Three Rivers Marine has a comparison set...
