Close encounter of the Orca kind
When we boat around the west side of San Juan Island, at all times we make sure to stay at least 1/2 mile from the shore. That 1/2 mile from shore is the Orcas favorite eating grounds. That is why it is a voluntary no motor boat zone. Please see page 5 here.... Link fixed by Da Nag- hoagey
