    Horn

My new 22" cruiser's horn just stopped working. It had croaked a few times before it stopped completely, but now it is dead dead dead. Ant suggestions as to what to do or what the problem is? Electrical? Corrosion? Peter

    Canvass for the 22' Cruise

I'm looking for suggestions for some kind of cove for the aft deck. A bimini of sorts. No side curtains, as this is a New England Spring Summer Fall boat. Peter

    Leak in cabin sole

Sawdust, right on. The filler pipe was loose and water had ponded under the tank. I fixed that, and the water was removed from the locker. Still water in the cabin. Perhaps there was so much that escaped that it hasn't dried. Thataway, the boat is in the water all the time. Peter

    Leak in cabin sole

This one is a stumper. I have a 2007 22' cruiser. There is a hairline crack in the jelcoat just inside the bulkhead on the cabin sole. Fresh water comes up at a rate that ponds about a 1/16th of an inch and then stops. As soon as it will dry I will try to seal the crack, but it hasn't dried...

    Issue with Carbon Monoxide sensor

Problem solved. There is no battery in the CO monitor. The beeping was caused by the depth finder which had a deep water alarm, set to its maximum, 99 feet. No wonder it was going off. And the shallow water limit, when the boat would cavitate at speed, ar bounced out of the water, would go...

    Issue with Carbon Monoxide sensor

lloyds, your mysterious alarm is easy to explain, while mine is not. Smokey the Bear is not on the water, but is in the woods. Peter

    Issue with Carbon Monoxide sensor

It's brand new; a month old. The fiberglass has off-gassed by now. It must be defective. I'll send the circuit board back to the manufacturer, if I deem it necessary anyway. Peter

    Issue with Carbon Monoxide sensor

My new 2007 22' cruiser came with a CO sensor that periodically goes on, usually at a higher speed, with all windows open and door open. I even disconnected it and it kept going on, for a while. Perhaps it had a battery or capacitator that held a charge for a short period of time. Has...

    Battery drain/CO monitor

As a new owner, I was unaware or forgot about the battery switch and didn't disconnect the battery when I last went out. After two weeks there was no juice to even raise the engine, much less start it. The culprit was the carbon monoxide sensor which like rust, never sleeps. Just a word to...

    Cooler options

I have a new 22-C. We spent Memorial Day weekend on her. We used the port locker on the transom for a cooler with two blocks of ice. It worked OK because it was chilly at night in RI. It will never work in the summer. So, what is an option for a cooler that won't take up too much room and...

    Delta 9# for a 22'

Jazzmaniac, you be right on. I bit the bullet and bought the bail. With the Delta we did our first two over nighters in Narragansett Bay, RI. Easy and secure. Thanks for the tip. Peter

    Delta 9# for a 22'

OK. If the stock won't fit thru the bail I'll replace it as suggested in my first post. Thanks. Peter
