I’m in the area on business this week and was driving I5 through downtown Seattle yesterday morning when I spotted a C-Dory — there was no visible name but it looked like a 22’. I see them so rarely on the East coast then realized they’re pretty common here.
Nevertheless, I wonder if the folks...
I certainly hope this is still done as this is a dream trip for us (Lake Champlain to St Lawrence river to Quebec and return).
While the Lachine Rapids are not navigable, they are bypassed by two canals -- the St Lawrence Seaway on the Rive-Sud and the older Lachine Canal (restored and now run...
The OP has received some excellent advice and guidance here so far.
My .02 is simple: relax.
Every complex mechanical toy eventually has “issues.” It’s inevitable for two reasons:
1) wear and tear (entropy)

My only hesitation with the Morad is everything has to be replaced up to the radio.
My original plan was to replace first the antenna, then the cable (as I suspect the radio is fine). Then after further review realized the cable is also a...

This is very helpful -- thank you!
I wasn't able to confirm the exact model today -- I had exactly 10 minutes between calls. Just enough time to climb in, measure the bimini bracket tube O/D and the distance from the edge of the cabin and then trace the NMEA 2000 connections.
