    Lake Powell

Just got off the lake spent 1 week in Oak Canyon. Plenty of sand but lots of weeds. The water lowered about 1' in one week. Weather was beautiful.

    Lake Powell

Having been to Oak Canyon several years ago on our Tomcat, we now want to do a family trip on two house boats next week. My question is, I know the lake level is up. Has any one of you been to Oak Canyon lately and can tell me if the sand bars are useable. We really liked the location.

hydraulic braking system doesn't seem to be doing much

Hydrastarmarine and Cargo Towing Solution are one of the same. The motor in the unit most be running not just clicking. You will hear a constant hum. Then check if fluid comes out of the bleed screw.

hydraulic braking system doesn't seem to be doing much

Ok guys I just went thru this situation. The true test is to pull out the break a way cable and see if the motor in the unit operates. There is a 12v 5 amp battery which has been mentioned prior that operates the pump. If the pump does not operate check the battery to see if it has 12v. Also...

    C-Dory Sightings

We took 405 around Seattle and I believe 205 around Portland. Both worked out great, highly recommend. Two nights later we were home. The 5 is a very rough ride south of Stockton.

    C-Dory Sightings

Yes locale boy, Patriot spent the night at Tulalip Casino after 1 month in the Gulf & San Juan Islands. We were heading south to return to So. Cal. We really enjoyed our trip and the Tomcat is a great platform to explore the PNW. 2 years ago we took her to Desolation Sound for 6 weeks.

After re-reading all the suggestions on the forum I had the boat owner put the motor in gear while lifted...

In Mexico need help honda 15 trans problem

We did some further trouble shooting yesterday. We are sailing a Corse Air 31. It will perform at lower rpm and when we throttle up it starts slipping and making noise. The clutch issue is most likely the problem. We have the workshop manual and have viewed the clutch mechanism. Thanks for the...

    TV onboard

We have direct tv at home. Years ago I purchased a 1 lobe round dish ($60) that works with DTV. When we are RVing or on the boat at the marina I use the DTV antenna and the older type reciever to watch tv. The dock lines need to be cinched up, but we get excellent reception. The extra...
