Like a high end c dory seen at FLIPS

I have a coffin berth in my Ranger Tug R25SC. I can't fit in it comfortably (I'm a big guy), but my elementary school age daughter loves it. And I like not having to turn the table into a bed for her. - tom

    Legend has passed

Dang, sorry to read about Roger's passing. We went to our first FHCBGT last year and my 8yo daughter lit up when Roger gave her a potato pin. He really made a great impression representing "the boat people". Rest in peace, Roger. And condolences to his family. - tom

Puget Sound Last Minute Boating Trip Ideas

If you don't do a big marina, Blake Island is a good stopping point in the Seattle area. State Park, accepts the State Park Marina pass, has showers and power at most dock spots. https://www.parks.wa.gov/476/Blake-Island

    AIS Transceivers

@Marco Flamingo That's awesome you have an AIS transponder on a 16fter. When I had mine reprogrammed at Fisheries Supply in Seattle, the dude was all "You got a 22ft? This is about the smallest boat we've had an AIS put on". My thought is I want people to see me in as many ways as possible. - tom

    SOLD - 2007 25 Cruiser, $49,900 (Rogersville, AL)

I'm shocked someone hasn't claimed dibs and put down some money. This is a great deal. Bad timing for me. I've been looking for a 25 or 26 Cruiser, this would have been perfect. Got the OK for a bigger boat from the wife, but then she got up close to a Ranger Tug 25, and now we're getting one...

Fuse locations for removable solar and inverter

@SnowTexan Do you have an MPPT controller or does your solar panel suitcase plug directly into your batteries? I've used this chart to size fuses. https://www.bluesea.com/resources/1437

    AIS Transceivers

I put in a Vesper Marine XB-8000, I'm pretty happy with it in that it works and I haven't had any issues with it. I bought it used and it cost $50 to reprogram the MMSI.

As a parent of an 8 year old hoping to make our own boating memories, this is so awesome. Great job!

Does the Tohatsu 6HP fit on a 22's transom?

Hi, I think I saw people have this setup, but wanted to get confirmation. Does the Tohatsu 6HP kicker fit directly on a 22's transom? I got a 2015 Yamaha 6HP and was irked that the transom clamp bracket was slightly too small to fit over the transom. I was considering a mount like the Mini...

    2008 C-Dory 28 ft Diesel

Not my boat or any relation to the seller, but found this interesting. I think it was an answer to one of the trivia questions at the 2022 Friday Harbor gathering. https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/boa/ ... 22739.html Was this the only inboard model C-Dory made? - tom

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Just got back from a couple days with the family at Jarrell Cove State Park. The dock setup is pretty nice, there were many open spots on July 3rd. Coolest thing is as we go to the north point of Harstine Island, we saw orcas! It was the first time we had seen orcas from the boat.

Thinking of buying a 16' Cruiser: a few questions

Hi, Welcome to c-brats! My family (me, wife, 8yo) got our first boat a little over a year ago, initially looking at a 16 and ending up with a 22 Angler. I'd say the 16 would be too small for a family of 4, including little kids. We probably over pack being used to car camping than backpacking...
